We're an established driving school covering Aldridge, Birmingham, Great Barr, Handsworth, Kingstanding, Smethwick, Sutton Coldfield, Walsall, Wednesbury, West Bromwich and the surrounding areas. Ram, our owner, is DVSA-registered and DBS-checked, and teaches every lesson himself — our goal is simple: get you to that all-important milestone, and teach you to drive carefully for life.

Active Drive is a sole-instructor operation — owned and run by Ram, who is also the DVSA-registered, DBS-checked instructor who teaches every single lesson, personally, across all 10 areas we cover. There's no larger team you might or might not get on the day, and no call centre between you and the person actually teaching you — if you need to raise something, you're speaking directly to Ram.
